Learners take part in athletics, swimming, soccer, netball and soft
ball.
Learners take part in the annual Alberton Eisteddfod in singing,
dancing, reciting and percussion band.
Music activities also include the revue, drumming groups, choir and
music classes. |

LIBRARY
Learners visit the Library for pure enjoyment. A selection of books
cater for learners on all levels of functionality.
Learners who are not able to read, will page through picture books,
discussing the pictures, "narrating" their own story around the
pictures. Other books provide in the need of learners who can
read/recognize single basic words, while a third group of books
offer reading to learners who are able to read sentences and can
read a short story.
The aim of the Library is to offer reading for enjoyment, to expand
the learners' language and vocabulary, and to teach them to respect
and love books. |
BIBLIOTEEK
Leerders besoek
die Biblioteek vir die genot daarvan. 'n Groot verskeidenheid boeke
voorsien in die behoeftes van leerders op alle vlakke van
funksionering.
Daar is pragtige prenteboeke om deur te blaai vir die leerders wat
nie in staat is om te lees nie.
Hulle sal die prente bespreek en so hul eie storie rondom die prente
vertel. Daar is ook boeke vir leerders wat enkele basiese woorde kan
leeslherken. 'n Derde groep boeke bied leesstof aan leerders wat wel
in staat is om sinne en kort stories te kan lees.
Die doel van die Biblioteek is om leesstof vir genot te bied, om
leerders se taal en woordeskat uit te brei, om hulle te leer om
boeke te respekteer en om 'n liefde vir boeke te kweek. |

COMPUTER CENTRE
The computer centre is equipped with adequate facilities and
learners are exposed to a variety of basic computer skills.
Computer aided education programmes are available and learners are
engaged through active participation and facilitation.
The centre is also supported by Gauteng Online. |
REKENAARSENTRUM
Die rekenaarentrum is toegerus met voldoende fasileite en leerders
word blootgestel aan 'n veskeidenheid basiese rekenaarvaardighede.
Rekenaargesteunde opvoedkundige programme is beskikbaar en leerders
word betrek deur middel van aktiewe deelname en fasilitering.
Die sentrum word ook ondersteun deur Gauteng Online. |
