The Learner in our School
- Felicitas School offers specialised education and training to learners who are Severely
Mentally and Physically Disabled.
- Our learners are functioning on a third to a half of their chronological age as determined
at their assessment.
- These learners have a general developmental delay. They do not benefit from Mainstream
education.
- Some of our learners have secondary handicaps: e.g. Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy, Auditory
problems, Visual difficulties, etc.
- The school however does not take learners who present with severe hearing impairments
or severe low vision impairments as these learners require specialised education
and adaptations.
